On 24-25 October the RDMRose project presented a poster at
the JISC MRD Programme Workshop in Nottingham. It was a good opportunity to
discuss the progress that JISC MRD projects had made and the challenges they
faced.
Our poster described the aims of our project and the
intended learning outcomes of the curriculum that we are designing. More
importantly, it also listed the potential RDM roles that librarians could take
on, and how these are aligned with their existing roles.
The poster also had an interactive aspect. The workshop
participants were encouraged to vote which of these potential RDM roles the
Library should prioritize. People were asked to put a blue dot next to all RDM
roles they would like to see prioritised. The results are on the photo below.
